Willow Reservoir
The Willow is unique among Wisconsin waters. It offers a Canadian wilderness experience close to home with 6,392 acres of top walleye fishing and over 93 miles of rugged, deep-forest shoreline. The silence is penetrating.
This western Oneida County flowage on the Tomahawk River beckons you as fisherman, hunter, hiker, canoeist and naturalist. The loons wail and the eagles soar above. Wildlife abounds. These unique qualities have endured since the Willow was constructed in 1926, and Wisconsin Valley Improvement Company (WVIC) plans to keep it that way.
Help us preserve this primitive watershed. Camping and fires are not permitted at the boat landings. Leave the islands, shoreline, and landings clean and litter free. Join us as stewards of this natural resource and protect it from disturbance and misuse.
You are advised to boat at slow speeds because submerged rocks and snags can be dangerous. Water levels fluctuate seasonally. Consult the depth contours on the map for guidance.
